I felt this was a great way to introduce the guests to Rockabilly styling as some of the girls were new to the look and really loved the sleek hairdo's and bright fun makeup and sexy dresses.
After all the ladies were beautifully dolled up and few fun snaps, we sat down to create our own vintage themed
cupcakes with the bride-to-be under the watchful eye of Nel Rennison owner of www.thepapercupkitchen.co.uk.
Followed by Afternoon Vintage Tea including open finger sandwiches, warm scones with homemade jam, lemon curd and Cornish clotted cream, a selection of English traditional cakes and special teas served in beautiful china which was hired from Prim and Proper Vintage.
We then decided to hit the town for some more cocktails and a bit of dancing and much to everyone's delight not a flashing willy in sight…(ok maybe some crazy glasses but that's it!).
So if you are looking for something new to try or just want to introduce your friends to your style this is a great way to have some fun and look amazing!
Dresses worn were Melanie Polkadot Bolero Dress and the Alika Hawaii Hibiscus Swing Dress
