Oh Kitten!

Oh Kitten!
Hell Bunny’s S/S collection is full of kittens this year! The pattern comes in two base colours- black and pale blue, and they feature kittens, petals, hearts and flowers in violet, white and pink. Frankly, we were head over heels even before we saw the kittens are all wearing bows!
Of course, we had to get our hands on some of their designs immediately, as they embody everything we love about vintage: They are cute and feminine, and just a bit playful and sassy!  All it takes to improve our mood during the day is one look down at our skirts or dresses and those adorable kittens!   The designs and pattern are so versatile and easy to match, we put together four kitty-themed outfit ideas for you to enjoy!

We named the first one Soft Kitty, as it features the skirt in pale blue, and we matched it with a pink cardigan for a very dainty, very feminine look. It is both gentle and elegant, and we kept the jewellery to a minimum with only a pair of floral earrings.

Pink kitten is a somewhat bolder look, with a black dress guaranteed to show off your figure in the best possible light. We went with hot pink and black accessories and makeup, in order to accentuate the cat theme, and complement the bolder colours of the print.

The Wildcat is possibly our favourite.  There is just something about combining a pastel dress with darker, bolder colours that always catches our eye.  We also love the good-girl-turning-bad vibe that comes from combining a full circle dress and leather.

Lovecat happened when we decided to make the kitten print more formal, and more adult. We paired it with a black top and darker lipstick, and matched the pattern’s purple and pink tones with makeup and pearly drop earrings.

Does Halloween make you scream?

It seems we just can't get enough of Halloween here at Rockabilly pinup!
First we presented you with a few sets of Halloween costumes, and now we are back with even more Halloween ideas!

This time, however, we will not be giving you costume ideas, but wardrobe suggestions inspired by Halloween.

Not all of us like to dress up, or can, due to work or classes or a million other reasons, but we still want to celebrate Halloween in our own special way.

This is why we created these sets, to sneak Halloween into your everyday, and to have an outfit that you can walk out of in the office, and walk in to a party!

The Ghoul School is a cute outfit featuring the Horror Gal dress and the sugar skull lunch bag.  We went for the cute side of creepy and accessorised it with blue eyeshadow and a lipstick that screams candy!

The Flaming bat is a fiery and feisty outfit in red and black. The Bat dress has been accessorised with a small purse, hair flower, and black and red flame pumps that are sure to catch everyone's eye.

The Golden Death has a spooky name, but the colours are all rich and full! The spider necklace and snakeskin-look boots add that little hint of danger to the dress, while the golden lipstick gives you an otherworldly glow.

And finally, the Graveyard Queen. You can dress her up or down by adding ghoulish tights and macabre accessories, but we recommend the bright red lipstick and the skeleton finger heels for that little bit of extra Halloween spirit!
