Winning Style for Wimbledon

With the Tennis Tournament of the year underway, we have been enjoying the excitement and walking the streets in Wimbledon to catch a glimpse of the beautifully dressed ladies headed for centre court.   We haven't had time to book ourselves a ticket yet, but we did put together some must have dresses to wear over the upcoming weeks whether you are watching on Murray Mound, in the Player's Lounge or hosting a get together at home to watch with friends.

If  you are meeting up with your friends and family to enjoy the best of British weather and Wimbledon then this Blue Belinda Floral Mini Dress by Hell Bunny is super stylish and cute, pair with some white sandals and a summery hairclip for a great afternoon look.

Sail away with me!

There is just something about summer that begs for nautical themes and prints. Perhaps it is the idea of a seaside vacation, or new and exotic adventures, or the fact that the reds, whites and blues are all such fresh and cheerful colours. Bardot wore the now iconic Breton stripes in many of her summer photos, and the sailor theme has been a part of our summer attire since the 19th century, first for children, and later as a part of female fashion.

But history lesson aside, we’re big fans of wearing nautical themed clothing in the summer, and we know that a lot of you are as well, so we prepared four sets to inspire you and your summer wardrobe.

We’re kicking it off with Sailor’s ruin, featuring a wiggle dress to die for, and a round nautical themed purse. We opted for a single piece of jewellery, keeping the look sleek and deadly!

Next up is Anchors aweigh, a cute and playful set that is equally at home in the city as it is at the seaside. The classic capris and top combo is dressed up with onyx jewellery, a big red flower and a pair of wedges.

Full sail is possibly the perfect vacation outfit. A short red nautical dress paired with boat shoes and dark blue jewellery is just the right combo for style and comfort! Pair it with a small round purse for evening cocktails!

Full Sail

And finally, Smooth Sailing.  This seemingly plain top has a beautifully detailed back, and we decided not to draw attention to the red bows by pairing it with a red skirt. The dark blue wedges bring a little spring in your step, and the minimalist jewellery and makeup serve to enhance the fresh, natural look so popular in the summer.
